Sacred Amarnath Yatra

Amarnath yatra is a Holy yatra which is organized to have Darshan of Lord Shiva During the month of sharavan ( July and August. The yatra falls on the according to Purnima (Raksha Bandhan) in the month of Sharavan where ample of Pilgrims take part  to conduct ritual prayer to Lord Shiva. For the convenience of the pilgrims, the yatra is well conducted by J &K Govt where the trip will take you to cave of Ice Shiva Linga. 

The pilgrims are so devoted to have darshan of Baba that they use to cross all the huddles and plan their trip in any weather conditions since the weather conditions are not  are quite uncertain and favorable all the time. During Trip many times    times rain or snowfall may take place at and the normal temperature falls up to -5 degree and nice sunny day turns to heavy rain day. But as the names itself say that it is holy trip to Amarnath which means Lord Shiva the Immortal Lord. The lord Shiva who is known as destroyer of the earth and terms “Amar” & the “Nath” where Amar means the Immortal & the Nath means God. 

Amarnath yatra by helicopter is organized every year since Amarnath Cave positioned at altitude of 3,888 m (12,760 ft) and to reach one has to further end the Lidder Valley and reach at the destination. It is highly positioned above sea level and is situated in a narrow gorge where the devotee have to trek about 14,500 ft is full of thrill and joy.

Spiritual Feel of Amarnath Yatra

An Amarnath Journey will make you rediscover the inner spiritual feeling for lord consists who is located in Amarnath Cave and known as a big stalagmite of ice formed naturally in the cave. The entire land is quite rugged & the climate is very uncertain where while trekking the oxygen reduces and at time can causes breathing problems. 

Every year the trip is well organized by Jammu and Kashmir government in the moth of Shavan ( Juky August). Its is one of the holiest yatra organized for view the stature of Ice Shiva linga, where the Lingam gains its full shape of the form of the Lingam during the summer. The Linga make a form of Ice where the rest of the country is melting in hot Summers. This shoes the spiritual feel and the power presence of Lord Shiva.  The entire ideal reflects the amazing and miracle part where one perceive the cool Avata of lord Shiva who is transparent & powerful is really existing. While coming here one will v months of May to August one can also enjoy the holy idol of Maa Parvati & Lord Ganesha, this truly shows the power and presence of Lord Shiva along with his family.

The topography of the place is quite. Moreover, while trekking Oxygen as you near the Cave also.  As the cave is located in Himalayan range and is surrounded by beautiful valleys, mountains, dense forest, so while coming here you will face climatic problems. There are frequent snow storm, & chilling cold along with frizzy chilly & even -5o C temperature

To complete the trip is devotes to Lord Shiva where the   devotees trek the arduous route & truly pay their obeisance to the Lord and complete the Yatra. Moreover, the yatra is quite holy since  true devotion and  feeling  of divine beneath  ones' heart  takes to have realises ‘Moksha’  in this life itself. 

As per Mythology the original name of the tirth yatra was Amareshwara and later changed to Amarnath yatra where currently the trip is provided in the name of Amarnath tour packages to the visitors all around the world.
